I try hard to make SweetFX as easy and simple to use.Д®NB strives to implement the most advanced and impressive effects for a few select games. In comparison SweetFX is very fast and supports cards as old as the now ancient Radeon 9500.Д®NB is also not as easy to configure and tweak as SweetFX. The advanced effects are also slow and require you to have a very powerful card to run at a decent framerate. It can only apply it's advanced effects in a limited number of games and it only supports 32bit DX9 games. With Boulotaurs injector or RadeonPro you can also use it with 64bit games.Д®NB isn't as compatible. It does this very well though - the injector is compatible with all most all DirectX 9, 10 and 11 games ever made. SweetFX can't do all that because the InjectSMAA injector I use was only designed for one thing - to apply SMAA to games.

If you suspect that your Windows 10 settings are incorrect for Skyrim, then check cfs111's guide for recommended settings.ENB series are developed for a few select games that Boris the developer likes - mostly the Elder Scrolls series and the new Fallout series.ДЄnd for those games it is tailored for it offers a lot of very advanced effects, because the injector can capture the depth texture and the scene in HDR and lots of other neat stuff that requires that the injector is written specifically for that game. Thus, I have always disabled DOF from ENBs I have uses and managed that from DYNAVISION instead.ДYNAVISION - Dynamic Depth of Field by Gopher and MyGoodEye Ability to change or disable DOF from that battle can make a huge difference.ДЄnd even if resources would not be the problem, then ability to set different DOF for screenshots and gameplay is pure gold. When modded with popular mods, it tends to suck out resources out even from very good cards and computer. Most notable one would be the finale battle. It also allows you to disable it, if certain events grow too resource hungry with mods. I would recommend using DYNVISION instead, because it allows you to determine the amount and form of DOF in game. However, ENB DOF tends to be resource hungry feature. I will say that K ENB Extreme was running amazingly smooth without the DOF lol. That file could be hard to find if its not on their website. I am hoping that this is not what is causing the issue though. Closest thing was the newest thing 0.279. I could not find that one on the enb website.

One thing that I did notice was that the mod author for K enb recommended the 0.272 enb binary. The interior lighting of the older ENB is starting to really get to me so any good change is welcome now. Icehound2 (Topic Creator) 7 years ago 11. I would like to get the full effects of that enb working at some point. If someone has dealt with this and knows a simple solution for it, I would love to know. Im not sure why the depth of field is not working, and I can live without it. Checked my skyrimprefs.ini settings numerous times, my enbseries.ini, and have been trying to find answers on the internet for hours. I changed out to the K ENB Quality, same effect. Ive been using various enb's for years with no issues.

The enb was working, just the depth of field wasnt. I installed K ENB Performance version and had no depth of field. After doing so I reinstalled skyrim and am in the process of getting it all modded up again.
